That looks like something I would have wrote :yep

Other than Oguni, I've mentioned all the other guys to quite an extent. In fact, the Tsuchiya piece is pretty much exactly what I've wrote on here (even the combined record bit!).

Yeah, Tsuchiya was a kick boxer. Here's some footage of him as one, including a trademark uppercut knockout:

Thanks for the article and the footage of Tsuchiya's latest fight - I'd only ever searched for the fight in Japanese to no avail :yep:good

You have to check out this round 5 between Joji Senba and Ryuto Kyoguchi.

Just a little background on the fight itself: Kyoguchi (blue) won the first two rounds clearly, but was hurt in the 3rd by Senba (red) and the 4th was close. Going into the 5th and final round, everything was seemingly still to play for...

Please give it a watch :good

Can anybody enlighten me on what the story with Takashi Okada is? He caught my attention when he beat McWilliams Arroyo in a 4 round mini-classic on the undercard of an Ivan Calderon fight(I think it was vs Jesus Iribe, I think). Yeah, it was class, Okada had the absolutely mental raw aggression and punch output while Arroyo was the more technically sound and crisper puncher. Okada wasn't allowing him the space he desired and thus an utter war occurred, with Arroyo being dropped at the tail-end of the second and the other three rounds being real toss-ups.

From what I gather he's based in the US, but he's extremely inactive, with only five pro fights since he tured over almost five years ago. He was relatively busy in 2010 only to have one fight the next year, and that's the last I've heard of him. He's not that good or anything, I mean he's kind of a knockout waiting to happen due to his complete reckless abandon but his disregard for defense and his all guns blazing style make him truly entertaining. Plus, if he can beat a genuinely decent prospect in Arroyo it suggests that he can still more than hold his up to a pretty decent level.

Anyhow, anybody know what's going on with him?

I fancy Singwancha for it personally. What are your thoughts?

Oh and does anyone know what time this is due to go down tomorrow UK time?

Same here, I've got 20 quid on Singwancha on points. 7/4, not bad odds.

Yeh I've backed him at even money, made him a reasonable favourite ( around 8/13 mark )
