Chef is probably trying to keep Vitali from being destroyed. He is wising up and realizing that Vitali is too f'n old to face a real HW who is young and hungry.

Even if it is not Vitali in the next fight. He is still being Dinosaur Hunted.

Maybe the can schedule the fight at Amundsen-Scott, Antarctica. They probably don't even have a boxing commission so Vitaly can ice Haye and leave him for the penguins to feast on David's toes.

Momeck was a **** opponent but Chauncey is no better...Mormecks three prior opponents to Wlad are better than any Chauncey has faced (except for Solis who he lost to)...and also at least Mormeck was a former cruiser champ

You're right, I just checked. That's really weird. Vitali fought Solis in March (mandatory) and then Adamek in September for another mandatory.

The WBC probably let's him off the chain to fight random bums for 24 months now? :think

Well if he's with Universum they certainly wont steer him away from a huge money fight and I would imagine Boytsov himself will want the pay day after being fed nothing but scraps during his career.

Ice Haye in Antartica....pun intended?

  9. Haye is the biggest fraud ever. He was never the HW savior as he claimed. He was a money grabbing *****. Over his retirement he has been called out by Arreola,Tyson Fury,Adamek and Vitali. Haye insists that he is going into acting.
And no I don't think the police are looking for Haye anymore.

He has a heck of a head start having done his WWE act in the HW division for a few years now. Lots of Brits found his acting believable and didn't mind a few minor gaffs like Audry Harrison forgetting her cue and Dave "Pinky Toe" Haye having to yell "NOW" for his diving act to start. In theater it is called 'the suspension of disbelief'.

Pinky make a good nickname for him now? :D

Doubt it LOL. Funny fight, horrible if true. Vitali KO 3.

As bad or maybe worse then Wlad-Austin/Mormeck IMO.

Mormeck was a Ex-Cruiser-Worldchampion and just a stay-busy-fight after Wlad´s unification fight with Haye. Others said "no".

    Austin was Wlad´s mandatory.

Chauncy looks so bad bodywise it will be a hard fight to sell to TV. I heard he's been around the block as a sparring partner, but can't see Vitali taking this...he's had solid opponents and this is a real step down. I think before Chauncy, the likes of Bermane Stiverne, Franklin Lawrence or David Rodriguez will be considered, as will David Haye.
