I guess I'm already getting my 1st Kirk loss of the month :!:

Yamaha seems to be the real deal.

Asians produce a solid quality of fighter.

Then again with a talent pool that large, it'd be shocking if they didn't.

    Round 9

Yamanaka dances around and shakes his arms out loosely at his sides, letting Darchinyan come swinging wildly with overhand lefts and carry himself off balance - leaving Yamanaka plenty of time to make an exit. Darchinyan is just brushing him with the left or whiffing outright. Yamanaka keeps moving, but not countering too much. Darchinyan looks very stiff-legged trying to keep up with him, resorting to jumping with his legs splayed akimbo to try and cut the ring off. Yamanaka keeps changing directions, trying to tie his feet in knots. Long right jabs by Yamanaka, cheeky. No attempts at power punches by Yamanaka.

One might give that round to Darchinyan on sheer activity & aggression. Nice defensive display by Yamanaka, but that's only half the game. :think

    10-9 Darchinyan

    87-84 Yamanaka

Not got the foggiest idea buddy, that would be a question for IB.

Snooker is the largest growing sport in China from what I gather :think

    Round 10

Yamanaka circles close to the right and busily pumps jabs in Darchinyan's face, keeping him shut down. Darchinyan seems to be sleep walking. And, BOOM!!!! Darchinyan is caught and hurt by a southpaw 1-2 to the jaw!! OH **** YAMANAKA HAS HIM ROCKED!! More straight punches!! Clinch. Break. Darchinyan comes back fighting, sloppily but still showing his heart. Clinch again. Darchinyan circles to his right, creating space and probing out with his jab. Darchinyan is trying to be the outside boxer now. Yamanaka stalks. Clinch. Darchinyan lands a rabbit punch. Hard lefts being cocked up by Darchinyan on the outside, trying to land something big. Lots of clinches. Yamanaka bounces on his knees, ready to time Darchinyan - and he DOES! Big left hand! Darchinyan keeps coming.

10-9 Yamanaka, came close to knocking Vic down

    97-93 Yamanaka

    Round 11

BIG LEFT BY YAMANAKA! Darchinyan buzzed. Right jabs high and low by Yamanaka, circling this way and that. Darchinyan is thrusting his own jabs up from a half-crouch, looking mostly paralyzed and uncertain. Darchinyan works his way inside with his right elbow jutting out to the side, and tries to slam through with a left. Yamanaka cracks him with a left hand lead to the head. Yamanaka circles to the right, popping jabs. Nice left to the body by Darchinyan. They step in opposite directions, Yamanaka to his right and Darchinyan to his own, crossing each other by, and land jabs simultaneously. Darchinyan misses jabs from outside. He clubs with a left to the back of the head as Yamanaka circles narrowly past him.

    107-102 Yamanaka

Darchinyan has been demoted from title contender to gatekeeper.

Such a shame. He's had a great career but ending it is has been anti-climatic.

Xiong Zhao Zhong, aka "Chinese Midget Tyson". :good

He gave Daisuke Naito a very good fight a few years back.
