Well done to the diddy teams for nailing the Yamanaka win :hi:

    Results for whomever is wondering:

Hasegawa KO7 Felix - looked ****-hot and hyper-aggressive, as fast and powerful as he was at the end of his bantam reign. :scaredas:

Yamanaka UD12 Darchinyan - not the least bit controversial. No home cooking. Vic was swinging at air like a geriatric caveman. Yamanaka is actually quite good beyond domestic level, it turns out. He actually had Darchinyan hurt at times. Slightly. Stunned, anyhow. (although he took a fair lick himself in spots)

Aoh UD12 Jandaeng/Kokietgym - this was controversial. IMO it was a total gift for the champion fighting at home. He dominated the last third of the fight as the Thai became visibly exhausted and a magnet for quick flash counters...but the heavy pressure and body punching from Jandaeng in the first several rounds should have seen him edge it in the final analysis. Unfortunately due to WBC scoring (announced after the 4th round and 8th) we could see the screw job approaching in agonizing slow motion..

Interesting IB, how would you rate Yamanaka's dismantling of Vic compared to Moreno's?

    Cheers IB :good

I went for Vic to win as a last stand, shame but time for him to walk away maybe go out on a win. Been a pleasure watching the Raging Bull.

Nice to hear Hasegawa is back on form, lost points in prediction league on Vic but this and the Aoh results are good for me. Missed out by a round on the stoppage. Shame the Aoh result was home cooking...

    Not near as crystal clear.

Anselmo would box his head off IMO. Shin's proven he belongs to at least have his foot through the door at world level, but not that he's super elite.

Yamanaka's defense is still too leaky for him to even hang the full monty with Mares, IMO.

El Travieso is probably more his speed. That is eminently winnable for him and would make for a VERY nice collection of scalps in a short period...

A measly 3 points because El Principe couldn't protect his glass whiskers another three and a half rounds to at least have the dignity of getting his cherry popped on points. :-(

Maybe for a curtain call he can resume his calling out of Jermain Taylor and finally make that showdown happen...at 168. :yep

After all, JT is considered susceptible to a puncher these days...
