must have been close if held in neutral location then maybe? still, a loss is a loss. sounds like it was a good fight though. be interesting to see the future of yamanaka and vics last opponent in the next few years.
**** ay thought he'd win this one, if he does retire he can hold his head up high he's had a good inning's and put on some ripper fight's.
Look at vics last 5 fights. For a man in his mid thirties it's amazing he can still hang with the youger crowd He will always be a legend for the excitment he brought to the flyweight division :deal
No. The scores were legit. Vic was completely outclassed. He looked even worse than he did against Mbamba. (obviously because Yamanaka is on a much higher level - but just for frame of reference it was the same version of Vic or worse...not much volume, just winging hail mary shots...walking into counters...lunging and missing...) Time to hang 'em up.
Well, that bloody war he had with Iwasa is no black mark. I reckon Iwasa's pretty good himself and may even scoop up a belt. Japan's been producing some especially fine talent in the lower weights of late.
Changing it up with trainers etc was a last throw of the dice...... Vics been finished last couple of years or last 5-6 fights unfortuately
