Yeah Kegsy, this is probably the match i am looking forward to the most this weekend. Also i have only seen Montiel in his previous fight, but am picking him based on that he might be the fresher fighter, and Castillo hasnt looked great recently. But i am going for Castillo. I was super pumped before Taylor Vs Pavlik 1, and am excited about the rematch, but this fight i look forward to alot also. I am spewing that i wont be able to get this on ppv, as this is a card i would have got, i havnt got a ppv since ufc 73 last year. Also not gonna get this since i wont be able to tape it, as due to blackout, got no recorder, so not sure to watch it on sopcast, or stay off the web and wait for a good download of all the fights from the ppv.
Thats some sad news there mate.:-( I think it would be awesome to match the Montiel-Castillo winner with Cristian Mijares in a unification bout down the road. Would defintely lead to some clarrification on one of boxings most powerful divisions.:deal
hey guys happy to be tipping from sunny london was in brixton today and visited the gym where Danny Williams trained :yep
Yeah i agree Kegsy, it would be awesome to match the winner against Mijares (who imo the winner would be regarded as the #1 guy), then the winner against Kirilov or Munoz. It would be gopod to see a clear #1 guy in this division. But ill check the sky website and see if Quakers inn are showing it then. But anyways i hope you all enjoy the fights this weekend.
Almost had a perfect round. All Pav needed was the late stoppage victory. Pretty annoyed personally... It was tough to call. I knew he would have more trouble then last time with Taylor, but i also thought he would outwork him. I thought Taylor might gas enough down the stretch for him to grab the late TKO. Oh well.
Martin Castillo got destroyed badly. Think its time for him to call it a day. Time for Mijares vs Montiel i think too.

When Kegsy puts up this weeks fights, just pick who you think will win, either by points or stoppage, and put a joker on the fight you think is a sure thing. You'll start at the bottom of the table with whoever is comming last, but not to worry, each season is only 15 weeks long anyway. Scoring system is on the first page if you're curious, if there's a ****up pm me
Definitely going to go with the early/late, wide/close option next comp. There simply isn't enough at the moment to seperate the top guys, or to close a lead.
