Erik Morales many times looked worse than his opponent at the end of his fights but he still took them to school.

I had a few hours sleep and wasn't drunk. ;) I got up refreshed to watch the fight on the Chinese channel. I cannot see how anyone can claim Pavlik won the fight or got close to winning. In my book, Taylor pretty much took Pavlik to school, taught him his lessons, fed him lunch and took him back home. I cannot give Pavlik more than four rounds, as much as I wanted. What a robbery!:-(

Ok but Taylor did not take KP to school.

Kelly did not have a mark or any swelling on his face at the end of the fight.

So what he got hit with some good punches, Taylor showed the better defense and was more accurate throughout the fight. Plus JT busted Pav's nose a bit.

So, you agree with me? Taylor won? It was a robbery?

I think we're seeing a trend here. Garlic mentioned in another thread majority of people who had Taylor winning all watched the fight in chinese. I agree... if that is the case, the hbo commentary influenced the judgment of a lot of people. I had it for Taylor although I think it could have gone to Pavlik depending on how you look at it since pavlik was the busier guy but Taylor landed the cleaner more effective punches.

Well I am neither, and I scored it for Pavlik 7-5. I had it 5-5 going into the final 2 rounds.

NO WAY:scaredas: Pavlik UD 115-113 or 116-112 IMO

Taylor fought much better and dint get cornered but Pavlik was more active and consistent. Taylor's Flashes werent enough. Pavlik's only mistake is not doing enough bodywork early. If he had? he'd have stopped taylor late. Pavlik is still the bigger puncher of the two and he had Taylor worse than Taylor had him.

Credit both men! They fought a hard technical fight. Taylor faded late and didnt do enough early to outpoint Pavlik.

my card was 115-114 same as yours to pavlik

    1-10-9 pavlik
    2- 10-10 draw
    3- 10-9 taylor
    4- 10-9 taylor
    5- 10-9 pavlik
    6- 10-9 taylor
    7- 10-9 taylor
    8- 10-9 pavlik
    9- 10-9 pavlik
    10- 10-9taylor
    11- 10-9 pavlik
    12- 10-9 pavlik

i wouldent argue if taylor won the fight it was very close with pavlik only edging ahead in the back end of the fight. first 4 rounds taylors jab was very effective, he seemed to get to excited after he landed a big right hand, and lost his composure opening himself up for counter shots from pavlik. cant see a 117-111 score however...good close fight.:deal

I had it a draw ... but I think I gave Taylor too many rounds.
Te decision is ok ... better than a Taylor-win.

Both fighters fought a good fight. I really hope this shuts up the Taylor "fraud" talk. He has always fought great competition, even if his showings haven't always been great.
