Example Mcline and Valuevs fight broke the record for the heaviest combined weight in a title fight. Also I think this still stand as the fastest title knock out in history when Gerald McClellan beat Jay Bell in 20 seconds in 1993. Anyone know some more record fights. Just looking for records that are still standing btw.7 :good
Oscar De La Hoya holds the highest purse for a fight at 52 million; Mayweather-De La Hoya 2007 fight.
That is ridiculous! :thumbsup In all fairness, we should take into account the 8 week training camp Oscar put in for the fight though.
30's and 40's I believe. He fought Freddie Miller, Billy Byrd, and Arthur Sadd. In all honesty, I'm not well versed on his career; just know a few of his fights and that he won more fights than anyone in the history of the sport.:good
Margarito VS Clottey According to Compubox, Cheato threw 1675 punches during the whole fight, which was a record of most punches thrown in a 12 rounder
Anyone know who has the record for WORST WIN PERCENTAGE (MORE THAN 30 FIGHTS) or MOST LOSSES (MORE THAN 30 FIGHTS)

I've seen in a few different places that Vince Phillips holds the record for most punches in a round he threw 237 in the 12!!!!!!!!!!!!!! against Ray Oliveira back in 2000.
Oliveira and Zack Padilla also apparently own the record for most punches thrown in a 12 round fight in which between them they threw 3,020 punches.
