James does not take it seriously anymore.

I have no interest at all in seeing him fight any young lion at heavyweight.

He should have gone for one last Huck but he does not have the dedication anymore. Time to hang them up.

i wish he could fight either wald or vitli for a title shot and then just retire.

 

That became clear to me when I witnessed the UFC debacle. I actually gave him a better chance to win than most were giving him. He's only in it for the money now:-(...

 

He was probably more deserving than Rahman was in '08 but that was almost 4 years ago. Now he's just a slob...

 

Does James even train at all anymore? Like anything?? It's crazy that he can get licensed in that kind of shape.

He is very lucky that he retains some of his defensive ability to avoid taking too much of a beating but he is an accident waiting to happen if god forbid he gets in there with someone who is live, with a punch and no mercy in taking out the trash.

Sadly it'll all catch up to Toney later in life, its begun already and its heartbreaking to see a once great fighter like this.

One of the greats.. sloppy joloppy built an still smackin heads around n his 40's. former middleweight that just slapped on some pounds an was able to scuffle with heavys. old school.

 

James Toney is an embarrassment and is not and has not been relevant in Boxing in years.
