Yes sir, spot on :good Getting close is arguably more effective at taking offense away from the opponent than keeping range is.

Bute also has short range lefts in stock for Ward. Short hook to Andrade's jaw, short uppercut to Miranda's chin. Both resulted in KD's.

"Scores at will" - LMAO. If you think Bute is as easy to score on as Froch or Abraham, you're more biased than I thought you were.

people seem to forget that ward does lose rounds, so it's not like he's some sort of boxing god. if bika gave him problems, why would bute have trouble doing the same thing? i agree though that he does have the skills to beat anybody at 160-175 but there are always unforeseen factors (lucky punch, off night, bad ref, etc). you can analyze all you want but it just comes down to what actually happens. a lot of people saw an easy win for tyson against douglas. he even knocked him down before getting KO'd. sometimes things don't go the way the "script" says. maybe ward can beat bute (i'm only saying bute because he already beat everybody else he fought at 168 and probably won't fight dirrel) 9 times out of 10 but bute can catch him exactly on that night where he doesn't. any given sunday...
