    Another common lie we see daily on this forum is, "The Klitschko are too big. "Their tall and thats all!"

    This argument was started first by the Western media and parroted by haters of todays heavyweight division.

    Do the Klitschkos have an unfair size advantage unknown before among HW champions in boxing history?

    Actually they dont!

    While the Klitschko are very big men as compared to champions of the past, their oppoenets have also become much larger than contenders over the years.

    Let's compare the #1 and 2 Klitschko brothers of today with the #1 and 2 from the 70s. Muhammad Ali and George Foreman!

    The 1970's #1 Muhammad Ali (6'3", 318lb, with a 80" reach).
    Now according to many sports writers Ali's averaged opponent was 6'0", 198lbs, with a 76" reach.

    That gives Ali a 3" hight advantage, a 20lb weight advantage and a 4" reach advantage.

    Wladimir Klitschko's (6'6", 242lbs, 81" reach) average opponent today is 6'3", 230lbs with a 78" reach. Giving Wladimir a 3" hight advantage, a 12lb weight advantage and a 2" reach advantage.

    So clearly the size advantage was in Ali's favor, not Wladimirs.

    Moving on to the #2 today Vitali Klitschko (6'7", 250lbs, 82" reach) and #2 from the 70's George Foreman (6'4", 220lbs, 80" reach).

    According to a history program on ESPN (and its true because I ran the numbers) Foreman's average opponent was 6'0", 200lbs, with a 76" reach.

    Giving "Big George" a 4" hight advantage, a 20lb weight advantage and a 3" reach advantage.

    Vitali's opponents average 6'3", 235lbs, with a 78" reach.
    Giving "Big brother" a 4" hight advantage, a 15lb weight advantage and 4" reach advantage.

    So anybody can clearly see, it's the greats of our past, not the Klitschkos who had an unfair advantage.:hi:

    I love it how easily the lies are exposed by your thread. Also check out my thread about the gift decisions. Funny how the trolls cant take it when they are confronted with REAL FACTS.
    If the Klitschkos were american, the users of this forum would be all over their nuts :)

    Ali fought about half his fights in the 70's under 218lb and about half over. So I just split the difference..

    The weight difference between the Klits and their contenders would be more significant if the challengers showed up without the 10-20 lbs useless lard..

    I know this is a troll thread. But I seriously hate you. VK is my favorite boxer( don't care much for the younger one) but it's trolls like you who are sucking away at the fanbase of VK. Vitali is amazing inside and outside the ring and deserves much more credit, but because of jerks like you who privately hate the K2 and just want to troll on boxing sites they get hated on and disrespected. You are pathetic.

    Bubby still is a plagiarist and I bet he gets his view points from some silly website like the one that states it is "the objective view on heavyweight boxing." All stat oriented.
    Those people will never understand boxing because none of them have ever fought before.

He thinks his attacks on old fighters will change the fact that they would kill the Klitschko brothers. Bubby doesn't realize that his attitude makes people hate the Klitschko more.     Oh and not to be too technical but,Adamk was 6'1 and 220 pounds,Chisora was 6'1,Haye is only about 6'1 220 pounds,Mormeck is 5'10 and 218 pounds and you're saying that the Klitschko brothers dont have a height and weight advantage on most of their recent opponents?
