There is nothing logical in that. If Ward did want to face Bute first, he had the occasion. He preferred to say Bute had to face a top opponent. That's exactly what Bute is going to do. If he loses to Froch, the Ward-Bute fight falls down anyway... unless Bute wins the rematch.

You are giving your best but unfortunately, you can't excuse Ward's inconsistency. And by the way, I think you are the kid. ;)

Ward himself doesn't seem as confident as you are.

He did cleary duck him. After Bute dismantles Froch in his hometown. I think Ward will step up and fight him though.

If he wants to fight, go for Chad Dawson. Dawson/ Ward in the summer would be a good fight.

Bute has been champ since 07 and has beaten no one ! Yet he is the man ?

Utter Rubish ! The man holds 2 3rds of the title with wins over both Kessler and Froch ..You know the Cobra the guy who is now Bute's opponent ! I find it comical that Bute is considered the man with no pedigree to back it up ..Maybe your blinded by the undfeated record Bruh !

No one says Bute is THE MAN at 168 (at least not yet). Pretty much everybody places Ward at the number one spot.

And BTW, after Bute fights Froch, Ward will have 1 better win, their records will be very close.

Maybe they will fight if Froch doesn't spark out Bute. Bute is in with a live dog this time.

Its not going to be some epic battle. Its a mismatch. Froch will be lucky to get a few rounds.

No, he meant he's the man to beat to become undisputed champion, for he is Ward's last real challenge at 168 and vice-versa once Bute beats Froch.

At least, that's the way I see it.:bbb

Well the way he made it sound was that Bute was the man ,That distinction belongs to Ward ..But lets hold off on Ward facing Bute..Lets see if he gets past the Cobra first ..:bbb

At least though we are getting closer to an undisputed champ again ! :good

Bute wanted to fight SOB Ward, but SOB did not want to fight Bute..........SOB lies through his teeth! SOB refused to allow Bute to fight in his own personal tournament, then refused to fight Bute on Showtime after the tournament. SOB waited 'til after Bute signed to fight Froch before called Bute out! LOL! Ward is a fraud! Ward was the only boxer in the tournament who did not have to travel! Why was that? SOB does not believe in a level playing field. SOB is a privileged boxer, he expects to be spoiled and he has been.............

Unless they pay Froch to do the old flip flop he isn't going anywhere. Bute didn't knock out a 70 year old Glen Johnson. Even at his advanced age he was the best opponent Bute had faced.
