Has any other long-reigning HW-champ looked as unbeatable as post steward Wladimir?

You can call it quality of opposition.

I call it superb boxing ability, coupled with a safety first approach and POWER.
All of that behind a golden jab and quick feet, with pretty quick hands.

He looks VERY tough to beat for anyone.

I think the obvious choice is Joe Louis.

    Quotes from Steward:

“Wladimir is gonna be the one I don’t think I could train a man to beat the way he is. I’m serious. I’ve never had a fighter – I went from Holyfield and all the guys I’ve worked with, never, Lennox – Wladimir is a very, very committed, very difficult fighter to beat. Because he won’t let you fight him. He makes you fight what he wants you to fight. But the biggest thing which I think people are not looking at is his speed for a big man. Tremendous speed. Foot Speed. He can move in, explode, move out, move back in, explode, and I’ve never seen anyone that could…move in and out and be in perfect balance,”

"Wladimir has better one-punch knockout capability than Lennox"

"Wlad has the best footwork, coordination and balance of any fighter I ever worked with. He’s the most accurate, single-punch knockout guy I have ever seen. A guy can be completely fine, not hurt, and Wladimir can put his lights out with one shot."

"Wladimir’s coordination is better and he is the most powerful natural talent than any other heavyweight I have worked with."

"In terms of jab, Wladimir is the best and after him I would put Lennox. In terms of boxing arsenal, Wladimir is better than Lennox."

With Steward, Wlad has been dull as sh*t. But unlike Tyson, Louis, Ali, Foreman and whoever else, he almost never gets hit with a punch. His defense and footwork, combined with his height, makes him virtually untouchable. How can you beat a guy who can't be hit? You can't.

Wlad looks untouchable at the moment, but no more so than Johnson, Louis, Liston, Ali, Foreman, Tyson and Lewis looked at certain points in their career.

Wlad's strategy relies on him avoiding punishment, as his punch resistance is obviously relatively poor for a heavyweight champion. Any erosion of his physical skills could make him vulnerable overnight.

Vlad won the Olympic God Medal back in 1996, superheavyweight division and the haters can't take that away from him. Vlad is a dominant heavyweight and is beating everyone out there. The haters are screaming "sour grapes" because they are extremely frustrated. Vlad has much better skills than any boxer in heavyweight history by far. Vlad is not only big, he can box, punch, great amateur career!!!!!!!

I have not seen a hw be so dominating for a 6 year period. The scary thing is Wladimir could be just as dominating for another 5 years or so, he is that good. I don't know if a heavyweight has ever gone for over a decade without anyone comming close to being in his league
