miguel vs emmanuel doesn't count according to what? you? let's disregard it because it doesn't fit your agenda. you expect me to fall for that weak ****? Miguel, being the experienced pro he is, surely knew how far behind he was on the scorecards coming into the 12th round of the emmanuel fight. The way he was fighting in the 1st minute of the round, before it was stopped, didn't suggest he was still in there to win. He was fighting for survival and to keep his pride intact by finishing the fight by losing a decision.

You should be thankful I rated his heart as 3.5. There's more people in this poll that have him at 3 than 5, how you ranked him. 5s and 4s don't ever lose the will for trying to win.

He would've scored a 4 if he at least tried to throw some meaningful punches after the knockdowns in the Pac fight, but he just ran and gave no real effort after he got dropped the 2nd time

 

Holyfield got taken to school twice by Lewis. So his heart is definitely a fuking 5.

Any man who is willing to go into the ring not once but TWICE with someone like Lennox Lewis earns my respect.


Lewis taught Holyfield what boxing really is

it takes more then a horse face and a big heart to beat Lennox Lewis.

As for the 4's of the boxing world I gotta say Cotto is a 4

I mean that beating he took from Magarito looked like it hurt

Magarito was also 99% possibly cheating in that fight

like the best example I can think of is

Andrew Golota

if you watch Golota vs Bowe that guy had a 5 heart. NON STOP NONSTOP Bowe did land some pretty big punches and Golota kept coming

but Lewis took Golota's entire prime in 1 ROUND. It was such a brutal and humiliating beat down of the Pollock that Golota's heart went from a 5 to a 0 overnight

Tyson fought a shell of Golota

So heart does change base on what happens to a fighter imho.


LiKE Wlad use to have a GIANT heart when he was getting beat up by fat golfer sanders but refused to stay down

now Wlad's heart is probably a 2 from fighting bums non stop year after year. The moment a legit fighter show up and hit Wlad once it'll be over.


AND YES Heart can go from 4-5 to 1-2
easily depending on the career of a fighter.


ATM Cotto's heart is a solid 4

But who knows what will happen in the future
