My pick was Rios from the start.

I think Team Gamboa realized this too.

Gamboa will not have sustained success at 135 or above.

Hmmm IDK man. He is so underrated here it is ridiculous.

People act like he is just a crude brawler. I will say this.
Rios has the most powerful jab in boxing. He does not use it as much as I would like him to but I have not seen anyone do as much damage with a jab in a long time.

This! ^ Rios is willing to kill himself to make lightweight to fight a featherweight.:think Now ask yourself without being biased, who is scared?

Gamboa backed out of the fight because he saw the writing on the wall, Bob Arum was going to cash out on Gamboa and hopefully feed him to Rios. Gamboa was not having it. Although I think he can beat Rios, it was still an unnecessary risk for Gamboa to debut 2 divisions north against a very big and dangerous lightweight (who should be a Jr. Welter.)

Why do people always use that "2 divisions" bs... He's fought above FW SEVERAL times... when you yap and yap that your going to beat somebody and then they give you the fight... nobody cashed out your ass... they gave you what you ASKED for
