I hope its Haye, cause as Chef said, Haye is fast as hell, and powerful as hell, too. But aside from Haye, I can't think of anyone who'd even be a good test for Vitali. Its a very limited list of credible opponents, that he's not already beaten, to pick from for Vitali. I hope Haye/Vitali is still possible, and that both sides come to an agreement, cause that'd be a great fight that'd make alot of money for both sides. More than anyon else for either man. Given that he lost his last fight (agaisnt Wlad) and that he's coming off a loss and getting a shot at THE *green belt*, I can't see how Haye is in the position to do much demanding, at all, when it comes to money......... Haye should get in touch with reality, take what is even close to a reasonably fair offer, and be glad he got a second chance at a title, after just losing his last chance against Wlad........ haye is a big draw for Vitali to fight, certainly, but come on, he's not Ali or Tyson.......... He's got the chance to redeem himself, make alot of money, and keep his name in the limelight...........what is there to *****/compain about? I think most agree that Haye should really be forced to fight another contender and earn his way back to a titlefight, but he 's given an offer to go from one title loss, directly to a second chance at another world title, and he's bitching over money................
Haye is best if the fight can be made. If Vitali won't fight till September then he could offer the fight to the Pulev-Dimitrenko winner as the most deserving challenger.
Stiverne is the mandatory, sad as that is. I've heard some people on here mention Welliver as a possibility, although I'm not sure how seriously...
It doesn't matter who he fights at this point the HW division is dead. If the Klits leave it would be a little more interesting, but they dominate HW, END of Story.
HW is boring today, the so called contenders the K´s fight don´t even try to win. to start with they could start to throw punches and not be so damned overweighted. Both K´s has problem with defense, as soon as someone punch more than one punch at the time they look surprised. They would never had a chance during the 70´s. Probably rated around 10, never get close to a titlefight during those days
He could get Haye if he really wanted too. If Haye is his next opponent,I will gain some respect for him for backing up his words. But if he doesn't face Haye,it will be another thing nagging him in his mind like the Lewis rematch he never got. He has to get this **** over with before that ***** fraud Haye is really gone for good. Wlad really had every chance to KO Haye but he failed big time. He was too scared to not be cautious.
Wlad was right about the speed from Haye. Haye would be a very tough opponent for Vitali. Haye from the Wlad fight would be too fast for Vitali.
