Rios got beat one of the worst robberies ever Top Rank is killing my sport Im going to stop watching this ****!!!!!!!something must be done what a disgrace,
blame the judges....100% blame the judges if it was an all mighty evil bob who uses "the force" to change the scoring, then if you start banning every judge who makes more than 2 of these kinda calls they wont listen to anyone "promoter" if you think thats who is pulling some kind of puppet strings... just too big of a conspiracy to point at one guy ...... i dont buy it...i personally think the judges have no clue how to judge a fight and are influenced by the crowd, what they are hearing and seeing it from 1 angle.... judges are pathetic, you give them too much credit if you think they are elite and only gave opposite scores of what really went on because "well thats what bob told me last night i needed to do"
Shut up drama queen. It wasn't even a robbery. Abril did nothing to win tonight. All he did was hold and grab Rios' arms all night.
Abril easily outlanded Rios and had him clearly frustrated and confused. To be great you have to figure out and beat all styles that come your way. Sure, the stuggling to make weight weakend Rios, but that's Rios fault for thinking that hiring a nutritionist would help. Plain and simple. Rios could not figure out Abril.
Oh, the fix was totally in. Did you see any urgency from Rios or his corner? They new what was coming. **** I better even Abril knew EXACTLY what was coming.
Bull****. Rios won 3 or 4 rounds at best. Had Rio's been fighting the air I might agree with you though. Go tell the Bobfather he really needs to work on the covert part of fight rigging.
sometimes I think they should put headphones on judges so they cannot hear the crowd. I am not sure I believe in fixes. Also, this is what happens in fights where the judges do not like that boxing hold and grab style. I feel sorry for Abril since it sounds like he won easily. The thing about a fix is that it doesn't hide the fact what actually happened and how Rios looked. Rios didn't look good. Winning or not, people are not going to be excited about his next fight.
the whole fights I was saying this was the perfect recipe for a fix. I had abril 117-111, and I couldn't see him doing much better than 116-112. I literally predicted the judges cards in the 8th or 10th. Abril was clearly winning, any honest person would agree, but he wasn't dominating, he wasn't looking great and wasn't putting on an exciting fight. i never understand why these guys think they will win decisions like this, they need to take more risks and try to win in a more dominant fashion, not that they should have to but its the nature of the sport.
Naw my friend, he held but it was fair. He did what he needed to do to frustrate Rios and get the win. Too bad the Judges had already decided who was going to win before the bout even started.
