I got that feeling for about 10 minutes but then Marquez walked to the ring and I was back again. I'm an addict....I know robberies exist but as a huge fan I like to watch every fighter possible and if that means catching the occasional robbery (all too often) then so be it, I'm not gonna stop watching the sport I love cause something that's been going on since its inception continues to happen. Hard to beleive but things were worse!!! Boxing used to be ran by Palermo and Carbo in its hay day and the fix was in far more often.
Nah man. Boxing's that ***** chick that pisses off your friends and no one knows why you like her other then you. You might as well stop trying to sell them a lie cause no one gets it but you.
Of course, I'll keep watching, but the credibility of the sport is currently in the toilet. These decisions are now common place with no lessons being learnt and no change in sight.
fighters should start looking for the knock out. that's what it's come to. i feel bad for assholes like malinaggi.
The guys 80 years old. I don't know what either of those are going to do. Might as well make it like the end of the god father. Wack'em all:bbb
What do you mean? If you mean whats up with this robbery **** and why it happened? Then check my post on the "he did it agai" thread. Pretty much says it all.
I will say the business of boxing wrecking the sport of boxing is worse then it used to be. I wish it weren't so but it is. I've barely ever been on a RBR where pretty much everyone saw the forest for the trees. Its not cool when it starts becoming that predictable.
Nah I'll always love boxing no matter what. Sadly robberies and bad decisions have always been a part of the sport since the very beginning. Maybe we as fans just have to look deeper to the lesser known names, for every robbery there is a great action packed or great display of skill and technical ability to be found somewhere. It does hurt the sport in the wider publics eyes to have bad decisions in big fights, but if you're a fan already then you shouldnt let that turn you off completely. I believe part of the solution is to stop getting suckered into the Bob Arum ect hype trains, DO NOT pay the $60 or £15 or however much it costs you in your country. There's always somewhere else to watch it for nothing... Maybe they'd get the hint eventually, maybe not but we can at least try to stop feeding the monster and cut it off until it loses its excess fat and dies.
