Anybody who says Rios won is kidding themselves. Delusional. Sorry if the truth hurts, this was a dishonest and down right criminal robbery.

I'm not a Rios fan, but I did think Rios was going to be too much for Abril. After the weight-in and seeing how bad Rios looked, I knew Abril would have a chance at pulling the upset.

Abril did pull the upset by not squaring up in front of Rios and just making it difficult for Rios to land flush. Abril was landinig the cleaner more obvious shots from the out side and some inside.

Very bad robbery, the fix was in. I'm sure Arum will throw something Abrils way down the line to make up for it. Kind of like he did when Cotto wouldn't put his belt on the line at 145 vs Pac, "Come on Miguel, put your belt on the line. I'll promise you Yuri Foreman at 154..." Crooks!!!

Rios is good verses certain styles only, Either come forward fighters who want to brawl with him or small fighters that don't have quality defense, A tall fighter with slickness and defense will give him a boxing clinic, Disgraceful decision. I had it 117-111, and that was very generous, Horrible decision, Worse then Cloud-Campillo, I am getting too comfortable with this ****... Bottom line is WE know who won these **** decisions!!!

That's the thing if you are so called elite, you have to be able to figure out and overcome all styles.

Credit to abril .. he neutralized Rios style perfectly ... his style is **** but he did deserve the win with his disgraceful performance. After the fight they said in the 4th the hand got injured making excuses for al that hugging and running. ABRIL should have walked down Rios something he could have easily done with his reach and height maybe even get a kd Rios was there for the taking especially with his drainage issues. I was just pissed 55 bucks to watch this ***** spoil the fight so I had my bad words for him.

Rios just proved he will never be elite... he is an action fighter at best someone to entertain us until the elite fight on the main event.

    I want Rios/ Alvarado maidana

I'm not Mexican, do like Rios, and posted in the round by round that the fight was far closer than many acted like it was. Abril did fine, but the style he fought holding, running, sluggish work rate, isn't appreciated by judges and simply not being rewarded of late. Rios outworked him, and pressed forward the entire fight. Abril made the decision not to engage, hold, spoil, and run. It's irrelevant what anyone else thought...these "serious posters" you refer to are in the round by round predicting shut outs and 11-1 scores, so I'm not sure how you arrive at the conclusion they are any more "serious" than anyone else.

Abril landed the cleaner punches, looked in control (and was in control).

Rios was tired, slow and couldnt land ****! I actually struggle to remember one decent punch landed by Rios that even remotely hurt Abril.

Abril has nice Defence, good use of shoulder.

Honestly, I had every penny to my name on Rios and Marquez to both win. And Abril won that fight.

Never been so happy for a robbery!

You have serious issues scoring fights. You also did not have a problem with the Lara fight. when 99 percent of the forum sees things different than you, maybe its time to get yourself tested for downs syndrome
