It mostly depends on how Rios is matched at 140. He'd look like a beast once again versus Peterson or a Maidana or an Alvarado, someone who'll come forward and trade punches with him. If he gets matched with brawlers and in-fighters, he'll look good. He will, however, look bad if he fights another tall, awkward, quick, slick boxer like Abril.

I don't know how much of it was due to him being drained, but Rios looked AWFUL. Very slow, no punch variety, bad footwork,no head-movement, no jabbing, NO use of the right hand, no uppercuts, predictable attack- I scored that one 10-2 for Abril. Abril put a clinic on him. Rios was lucky his chin is good/Abril is feather-fisted, because Abril honestly couldn't miss with his right hand.

In short, I think some of his performance was due to drainage, but it'll take a few fights at 140 to see if he doesn't look as sluggish there before making an assessment. Either way, Abril has his number.

I'm not sure if he'd look that great vs. naturally bigger in-fighters like Peterson. Pete is faster, arguably just as tough, and is the more skilled fighter IMO. But, yes, I'd say generally speaking he would do better against guys that will slug it out with him rather than someone who boxes on the outside. I'm really curious to see who his team targets straight away @ 140. Should be interesting. I hope they dive in head first.

he will f**k lamont up worse than anthony.

he will walk right through amir's punches and knock him tf out.

he will break devon down and ko's him late.

zab quits after/in between 7-10 round.

    bradley-rios is 50-50 at 140.

Its is painfully obvious that Rios has flaws , this has been a long time in coming , he is a very limited fighter , he's world class at what he does !! , but his overall game is well short of being " world class " , he doesn't have the variety , and if you can keep him off , you've beaten him :deal

Bigger men @140 , who punch harder , how does he fare ??? time will tell , can he become an effective LWW , i believe he can , but he'll lose to the top echelon in the division , thats a guarantee , can you imagine what Marquez would do to him for heavens sake !!!!

If he fought Marquez he'd never fight again :deal

rios is gonna be a EsPN fighter at 140.

Can't see Rios beating any of the top 15 at 140 actually.

Guerrero , JMM , Bradley , Peterson , Khan & Judah everyone one of these men would find Rios's chin , with little to no problem
