Hey freddy, please put a compilation of the clean and effective body/head shots you say Rios was landing. I would love to see that video. Im sure everyone would really appreciate a visual proof of Rios being 'the right man won.' Your scorecard would help too. Maybe i need to rewatch the fight cause i had Rios losing so many rounds i lost count!

 

This fight had similarities to the Molina/Kirkland fight. I thought Kirkland lost....I think Rios lost... But I see your frustrations. It wasnt exactly a fun fight to watch but it was csmart.....strategic and in my opinion won.

Rios needs to move up.... I originally was saying Rios wins against Abril but after the weigh in I knew Rios would have trouble... He's no longer an effective 135 fighter.

 

Excellent point.If I was Mexican I'd hold Rios in the same regard as a homeless Salvadorian who robbed and killed my grandmother.
Is this also an admission from Freddy that he wouldn't be able to "train" a fighter with a defensive or unorthodox style?

I did acknowledge the robbery for what it was, but I'm also glad it happened, Abril's style is **** and my opinion remains and will remain the same, move on if you don't agree different strokes for different folks...

Same way I was happy when Dawson pummeled BHOP to the ground for bending the rules and applying dirty tactics.. I was happy that this ***** ass **** didn't win since I did pay 55$ to see a fight, his wrestling moves are inexcusable to me, and I laughed my ass off to see him lose I care less who that infuriates, I pay for fights I subscribe to HBO and SHO and order most PPV's **** whoever doesn't like my opinion, I am doing my part supporting most people just talk **** but don't support anything like most cuban ****s on here.

 

I agree, Abril sucks. His defense against Rios was effective and spot on, but his offensive effort was pathetic to say the least, somebody should inform the wuss that you dont impress the judges just by holding and smothering and throwing timid ass punches all night.

to be fair I like Gamboa one of my faves watching... I still do only Cuban I like and RIGO is cool to next Marquez if he can up his output and be a little more agressive...

I still like Gamboa, and Rigo... but yes Cuban fans irk me at times, and I get on a :twisted::fire beast mode against them. Kid Cubano is cool though :goodeven though he was one of the one's hating on Canelo the most because of his love toward lara.

when in the armbar (which was 95% of the fight) rios was landing to the left side of abrils ribs....not pretty, but he was still landing....a lot of his hooks were landing on the ear or behind....again, not pretty but i'll that hot mess over abrils fail attempt at a boxing fight.....****en abril gracie should be his new name.........u sure he aint from brazil
