    i watched the fight on abc's ww of sports back then. can't remember much as i was very young but i knew holy was going to be great from what i saw.

    i remember how cossel was all over womacks nutsack throughout that televised fight. box-off was not televised as holy loses their 2nd fight.

    i remembered reading an article about womack going to jail for a while, he was undefeated, fought some more after he got out then killed himself.

    posters from michigan should make a thread about him. womack could also have been a great champ. it would be interesting to see others that are also fimiliar with him say.
