I've never been impressed with Sultan. I saw him live a few years ago get dropped by Friday Ahunanya. If I remember right the ref called it a slip, but from where I was sitting it was a one punch knockdown. Sultan was hugging to save his life after that slip, too. Against a mediocre journeyman, he looked totally ordinary. Wlad is going to wreck this dude. Mark my words: murder.

Ruslan was able to do that with Valuev, but Valuev is slower than Klitschko in every way. Sultan may also be somewhat better than Ibragimov in terms of skill.

I don´t see how Ibrag would be able to do this with Klitschko, who punches much more accurately than Ibrag, has a good reach and height advantage, fast hands and decent footspeed as well.

    Klitchko mid round KO
    :hi:

Both men have flaws and can both win on a good day.. Wlad is an exceptional boxer puncher with great power from close range for a large man.. Sultan fights in flurries and is exceptionally fast . They have issues in the chin department Ahunanya and Austin both dropped Sultan where as Wlad Ko'd Austin easy yet has been knocked out in his history as champ.. Wlads recent form is what tells me an awful lot here, i take him to get the nod here by wearing Ibragimov down maybe stopping him late in a hard fight.. But like i said it could go either way.. Great little battle, very interesting..

jab, jab-right hand, right hand lead, left hook lead, left hook off the jab, starting to use the uppercut a bit more. but i agree with u. it would be nice to see him develop a consistent inside game instead of always trying to wrap up. mix it up: throw inside sometimes and clinch at other pts.

but it's pretty logical. dominate on the outside and minimize the chance of geting caught on that paper mache chin :yep

great to watch for wlad fans, maybe not so much for boxing fans.

Lets hope its one of those two! I have a good chunk on the over rounds of this fight, I really think Sultan is going to avoid getting ko'd at all costs and he's quick enough and shifty enough to do it.......I think

He's already a world champ buddy! (And no, the winner ain't gonna be World HW Champ... you have to unify all 4 titles for that).

Anyway, it's good to see people backing Sultan. It's a very hard fight for both and Sultan is the biggest threat to Wlad's second reign so far. However I wouldn't dare pikcing Ibragimov, on paper, it's all Klitschko. But it's not gonna be easy.

Sultan Ibragimov is an underrated champion. He is much better than most know, however, Vlad is far above all the others and should stop him by the mid-rounds, by TKO or KO. Probably TKO.

However, in boxing, anything can happen, esp. heavyweights. This is what makes the fight interesting. Vlad will become unified champion if give the chance, but Don King had vowed to keep that from happening. Vitali will win the WBC, then make boxing history. After that, Vitali will probably retire, hopefully giving Vlad the chance to win it. WBA? We will see.

No and the more I think about it, the more I think that it won't be as easy for Wlad as once thought

All hopes are that as normal with every Klitschko fight, the idiot that calls Klitscko a *** and predicts his loss is gone forever after Klitschko beats the guy. You won't be here the next day after the fight will you? (Please say no.)

You cannot unify the 4 belts when Don King is not willing to allow you to fight his champions. Unification is only possible without Don King involved.
