I take that 2nd part of my quote back that just made me sound homosexual wat I mean to say is someone will come along like Joshua or a random that finally finally live up to the hype and by then the K2 will be too old and past prime and lose badly
If you think about it Vitali is already beginning to show his age It will not shock me at all if a seth mitchell crack him soon, VK is seriously getting old and slow Like not even talking from a view point of a lewis fan but a prime Lewis might have ended VK'S life that night in place of Chisora ended his life that's how bad VK looked, so his time is slowly burning out it's only cuz everyone he's fighting is afuking bum that is extending his subpar career
Vitali should retire so Wlad can unify the titles and becomes the first Heavyweight in history who held all the belts at the same time.
Once Wlad has gone through the bulk of Povetkin Arreola Adamek Boytsov Helenius Fury Pulev Wach Ustinov Huck Solis Valuev Dimitrenko Mitchell Chisora And Vitali has gone through some of these Povetkin Boystov Stiverne Huck Ustinov Dimitrnko Valuev Mitchell Wach Chagaev Chambers Pulev Haye Helenius Fury Then they should think about retiring.
Would leave more room for Pac/Floyd debates. Those four are the only real stars at the moment, I'm afraid.
:thumbsup Vitali should retire, IMO. He's looking older, slower and not as invincible as he was. Wlad, on the other hand, is clearly in his prime and is waiting around to unify the titles. If he stays in peak condition, his skills continue to improve, I think Wlad has another 5 years left before we see him exit. Technical fighters like Hopkins, Wlad, Marquez can stick around a little past the typical expiration date. Fighters whose style is based on reflexes & athleticisim, like Roy Jones, Vitali, Whitacker don't have that luxury. When its gone, its gone. They get old overnight.
Didn't like Wlad facing Mormeck but he came off facing a legit but aggravating champ in Haye and was looking for his 50th ko which he got. Also don't like him rematching Thompson. Vitali should retire as age is getting to him but Wladimir can go on for and 3-5 years possibly if he wants. Both should retire on top while they're ahead but now is not the time to be considering retirement except for Vitali. Like them or not we still won't see the dominance they have in the hvy afterwards for a very long time.
I hope Vitali sticks around long enough to break Foreman's oldest heavyweight record. I think he just didnt look like himself in the Chisora fight after he injured his left shoulder and couldn't jab/hook. Watch the first 2 rounds of that fight before the injury, he was dominating and will continue to do so in future fights.
really agree with paragraph 2 the longer ive been part of this forum the less and less ive started to hate fighters its childish....i used to get into long back and forth discussions over certain fighters and put fighters down...but its really stupid...when the other guy wins life goes on hard to attract fans or make ppl interested when all you do is hate a bunch of fighters as for the OP they should not retire...champs have cleared divisions before and waited for a new generation to arrive and then beat the 2nd wave Wladimir cleaned his era....now he has some guys of the next wave like Helenius and Puleev and Mitchell coming up who would make interestin challengers
Why should the Bros. retire when there's still so much money to be made? And they won't hurt their legacy by beating bums. Joe Louis had a "Bum of the Month" club himself.
Would love to see Wlad unify BTW. Would cement his legacy more as I'd rather have 1 guy dominating a division which will happened once Vitali retires.
