So the glancing/half landed punches from Rios alone won him 7+ rounds? His aggression was ineffective, Abril actually used it against him. Abril used the ring/controlled distance effectively showing ring generalship. Plus he landed the CLEANER more EFFECTIVE punches, snapping Rios head back, causing him to step backward. But according to you Rios' 'not pretty' punches landing 'to the left side of Abrils ribs and 'not pretty' punches landing on 'the ear and behind' won him the fight? :tired

I don't hate canelo I think he is good prospect not a Champion, what I hate is the ppl behind him that put him in the position that he is, a gift belt, that's what I hate not the fighter, he is and all out action that should be enjoy by everyone, but if you are a Champ you need to step up to the plate and you have to admit he is being protected, and that is the bottom line no hate from here, only that I want him to fight the best in his division or vacate the belt because he is blocking other deserving fighters that are ready to wore that belt.
PS. Beside but you criticizing a guy that just throw a complete one hit game, like Abril did against all odds, it doesn't look good, only a small % of the poster are on Abril A$$ and we all know why, frustration and hate.

Mayweather does it, its ok for him.. He did hold abit but i thought he disabled Rios quite well.

 

I thought he fought well.

He never held that much. at times he was able to just stay in the pocket in his shoulder roll defence as long as he wanted and block every single shot. I've never seen anyone else d that against rios.

 

I didn't see the Rios fight, but Molina should have been disqualified.
