No. Lawrence will win easily. Mollo was fairly decent at one time, but Don King ruined him with inactivity.
Seems like Golota peppered some confidence out of him. But anyway he had an obvious stamina problem plus was always basically a simple slugger with a suspect chin.
ainty racist.....its called reality....and take off that jc penny belt u got posted on your pic......anyways mollo has never been down :nono so how does a chin even com into play 20-3 never down...thats the complete opposite:hat
He was on spaghetti legs a good few times vs the old Golota and the old McCline - not exactly one punch KO artists. It could have more to do with his stamina though. He should work on stamina in the first place.
thats exactly what we talked about and hes been working on it for over a year.....believe me i said to him thats his biggest weakness...i seen with my own eyes him go to the heavybag for 3 mins..all out for over 4 rounds..unreal he could only do a third of that 8 mo ago...its gonna be a great spot for him hbo friday night...gonna be truly amazing:happy
I don't see any possibility that Mollo will win. Two reasons. One, I'm told by insiders that Mollo is routinely beaten up in Miami sparring sessions. Allegedly Yasnay Consuegra busted up him badly a couple of years ago. Atilla Levin allegedly dropped Mollo and broke his ribs. Last year, a Russian amateur broke Mollo's ribs again. Admittedly, I'm hearing this stuff through the gossip mill, so I don't know for certain that it's true. But I believe it, and it doesn't inspire me with confidence in Mollo. Two, as already pointed out, Mollo's career -- and sharpness as an athlete -- have been ruined by inactivity. He's barely fought in the last two years. This is very bad. Mollo needs a couple of tough tune-up fights before jumping in with Lawrence. The upside to Mollo is that, when he's at his best and brings his "A" game to the ring, he is a hard-hitting, swarming, tough clubfighter who can stretch a contender to his limits. We saw how Mollo obliterated McBride, and how he made things difficult for Golota and McBride. That tells use that Mollo is no bum. But, unfortunately, it's questionable if Mollo can perform on this same level after all the inactivity. Lawrence is a slow, flawed fighter. But he's strong, powerful, big, and he's on a winning streak. I can't see Lawrence failing here. Mollo fights Lawrence's fight: he's made to order for Ya-Ya. Lawrence by KO.
I would absolutely love to see Mollo spring the upset. I'm all in favor of the underdog, particularly a gritty, brawling guy like Mollo. But for the reasons I explain above, I can't picture Mollo getting far against Ya-Ya.
Can't wait for this fight! It's Mollo's time, and I think he is going to earn a great deal of respect after destroying Lawrence! Gna have to change that nickname from "Ya YA" to "LA LA":tired!! Mollo's hungry and he's coming:happy
