get the **** outta here, you obviously have little to no clue if you think he's selling ice, methamphetamines are ingrained into every facet of our society, from the corporate world down, its not a small minority of users there are a large number , and not all of them sell it. Oh yeah send him to jail, because our judiciary system does wonders for reforming people, it doesn't send them even further into a life of crime at all, there is a difference between drug addicts and criminals, drug addiction is a sickness. And why does he have to be the one sending a message to the kids about right and wrong? he was a football player , if parents allow their kids to be influenced so much by a sportsperson's private life then they aren't doing the greatest job of being parents are they?
Alan Jones? :think Alan Jones always seems to come to the aid of these poor, down-on-their-luck footy players (see the recent news about Chris Caruana living out of his car on the northern beaches?) Sevsak might be able to clue us into what it is exactly about young, vulnerable, former football stars that captures Alan Jones' heart
Yeah, "bikie" gangs don't actually seem to ride bikes these days. I wonder how the US HA's feel about their Sydney chapter becoming like that?
Collectively bikie gangs reckon they're the 1% ers. Over the decades poor upper management has seen them remain stagnant in regard to market share. And like any organisation the infighting hasn't helped. For the life of me I can't understand why they've been content to capture a mere 1% of the market. They obviously need to expand and increase market share. From the 1%ers to the 2%ers to the 3%ers etc etc. Thank you, I'm Ross Greenwood
I don't think their "1%" tag relates to how much of the market they get. I just recently reread Sonny Barger's bio...interesting stuff, and when you read some of the names of the really early bike clubs back in the 1940s and 1950s, Homer Simpsons "Hells Satans" isn't such a ridiculous name after all :yep
I undertand the gangs sprouted from disenchanted returned servicemen after WW2 A good story to look up is how and when the recipe for making amphetamines made it into the country. From memory it was about 1981 and the Hells Angels had a fair bit to do with it
Busting him for pot is a bit rough BUT driving stoned is as stupid as driving drunk. I've dealt with lots of drug addicts in my work over the years- a lot of them - when weening off a hard substance (like iCE), use pot as a crutch to avoid hitting the harderer stuff. It actually can work for many people.
he needs ANOTHER naltrexone implant. the only place in the world to get one.....is in perth... go figure. .
the 1% tag refers to the fact that 1% are law breaking assholes and the 99% are good law abiding citizen... id disagree and say it was more like 20/80
Yep, returning servicemen who'd seen a bit of the world when on tour in Korea weren't satisfied with returning to civilian life so they kept in touch by forming biker groups. The Harley became their bike of choice because the US army used them in their overseas campaigns back then. They traced the original "Hells Angels" monicker back to a group of fighter pilots who then used the name for their biker group when they returned home.
