yep, he was the cornerstone and leader of the best WCE team ever fielded... top 10 ATG and had a benji marshall type x factor and i dont ever remember him having a serious form slump (at WCE anyway)

as he got older he was able to adjust his game, and became an even smarter footballer

his off field behaviour hasnt clouded my judgement of him... but if he had behaved people might put him in the same sentence as Abblett and Carey

i mean extremely fit and he used to run until he vomited very regularly, i suppose it relates to pure determination

Give him 5 years and let him clean? How many drug addicts go to jail and come out clean? The prison system is rampant with drugs and drug use. Authorities DO NOT want these drugs legalized as the profit margins for corrupt dog **** cops who make massive amounts available (hey woftam!!!!) on the streets will drop dramatically. The fines imposed will also drop dramatically. To much money for ****s to earn illegally for the **** to become legal in our lifetime.

im just recently an AFL convert. even though i coach a jrl side. my son plays both sports, but id like him to play AFL exclusively when he gets older, as these days, you need to be a 100kg gorilla to make it in league.

AFL is more about attacking the ball, than attacking the man. 75% less chance of doing an ACL, and only hamstring injury compares to ARL injuries.

so ive been watch AFL to learn the game so i can teach my son. getting used to the slang takes a bit of study. likeclean hands, crumbing, gut running, etc.

but ive seen some great games already this season. was it hawthorn and geelong 2 weeks ago? wow, what a game. it grows on you, once you realise what they are trying to achieve, and what it takes to do it..

yeah i guess there is a lot of slang involved with it! yep and your awareness has to be very high as there are people coming from everywhere, its a sport that allows people of any size to be successful given that they have the right skills and smarts. Hawthorn v geelong is always an incredible game :good

I don't follow the AFL not that I'm anti just a league man thru n thru but I gotta say I haven't heard much on Folou or Hunt since they joined so it can't be an easy game to adjust to.

i starting watching when i was a kid and im one of the only people in my various social groups that likes it... always loved the Eagles even though im from country NSW. Going to an AFL game at the big stadium pisses on live NRL from a huge height. The atmosphere is awesome and there isnt any bad place to necessarily sit. I hope the Giants can make a good run of it, Sydney needs as much success as possible

the Gold COast Suns have over 10,000 members as of now... ****ing hell

thats more than some NRL teams that have been around for 20+ years

Hunt has taken a while to adjust and is only now looking like an AFL player... i actually didnt think he was going to make it there for a while. Midfield suits him though

Izzy will be right... he has a perfect frame and size for it and has a powerful kick from what i have seen

Interesting stuff, to compare the circumstances of how it all started to how they've evolved (devolved?). Obviously the minority paint the public picture of perception where bikie gangs are concerned. Bit of a shame but the ones that make noise certainly make it pretty loud

Only a couple of hours ago there was a report on the news about a Hells Angel being shot 3 times whilst he was driving along an Adelaide street. He drove himself to hospital so it looks like he'll live. The culprits are thought to be...fellow Hells Angels

Hunt and Falau...they ain't gonna be 10 year players I'm certain of that. Hunt is doing ok as far as I know. There's been no reports on him so by that it seems h's not making too much of a splash and I'd say commentators would be reluctant to criticise him if he deserved criticism. Falau on the other hand touched the ball twice last week...that's woeful. If an AFL player switched to top tier rugby they'd also get nowhere. You don't take up a new sport at a late age then expect to make it at the highest level. It just ain't gonna happen

Cousins...he'd been hammering the drugs for a lot of years and it didn't seem to affect his on field performances. At that level it's pretty amazing but it catches up with us all in the end. He must have thought he was superman but as he got older he would have found it gradually harder to keep up. Then things started to implode and he's now getting himself into a power of ****. His high powered mates will eventualy desert him too, and he'll be fukked if he keeps going this way
