I heard Nik's become terribly depressed since he discovered the photos of himself as a handsome young flyweight before he became a KGB "project"
SNV is one of those types of artists who was so great that he had to cut his career short. Kind of like Kurt Cobain minus the whole suicide thing; rather SNV just hung it up and allowed people like Ali, Dempsey, and Tyson to have a chance against him in mythical H2H fights. Along with being the peoples champ SNV was a gentleman as well as a scholar and he will be missed competing in the ring showing off the perfection of pugilism.
Serious question - why did he never fight a klitchko? He had the belt that david haye won and put up against one of the Klitchkos, so why did valuev never face one of them?
A lot o it had to do with him being under Don King who the klitschkos wanted nothing to do with, however Valuev was offered huge money by Vitali to fight even after he lost to Haye yet he turned it down, so you can guess for yourself he didnt want the fight
