Unlucky Smith he might still qualify though, think he could of won that easy if he wanted too but he let the Azeri catch him with stupid shots.

 

I thought he should have won there, can't see that lad who beat him beating the turk in the final so looks like he won't qualify for the olympics.

 

I must admit it looked to me like Smith landed more scoring punches.

Hear that Smith got robbed. Disgraceful but nothing new :-( Gutted for the lad.

 

He should've gotten a bigger lead in the beginning, but when it was even after the first round he didn't adjust to it. He continued doing the same and getting countered by unnecessary punches on the inside. If only he could use more movement. Especially since he's new at the weight.

 

Or he just got jobbed because of corruption.

 

I only seen round 2 and 3, and based on them it was a close fight (which was reflected in the scorecards).
But apparently he got dicked in round 1..

 

It wasn't exactly a bad robbery, it was quite a close fight which could have gone either way. Smith was too easy to hit.

 

Paddy Barnes just got robbed against a turk, Good job hes already qualified.
