I think he meant that aesthetics, and vascularity notwithstanding, he has the prototypical "boxer's body build". . . In that, he doesn't have much "excess" muscle mass, and he has just the right amount of body fat % to ensure maximum stamina. . . Also, perpefectly balanced, and proportioned for a boxer build. . . Ray Robinson was also perfectly balanced with his build. IN boxing, I still say it's better to have a little extra body fat, as opposed to muscle because muscle is so demanding in regards to sucking oxygen, and red blood cells. Whereas that little extra body fat will actually serve as a "reserve energy" supply when your body has burned up all the calories/carbohydrates in the current tank. . . It's like having that 5 gallon reserve tank.
My vote would go to Wladimir Klitschko, the man looks like a greek God! edit: After reading the post, I realized a no homo was probably needed here
Damn, that was violent. . . It looks like his skull/brain swelled. . It's not so much swelling in the usual places (eyes) that are bad, it's like his entire facial structure suffered some kind of internal swelling. . . Felt bad for him. . . He easily could have tapped out, or "gone down" around the halfway point, and nobody would have known the difference.
It was bad of his corner, ring doctor and the ref that he was allowed to continue. It was also bad of himself that he didn't quit and of Vitali that he didn't carry him the last 2 or 3 rounds like Pac did with Margarito. I remember IB's RbR thread on here and everybody were pretty stunned by what's going on.
There hasn't been a boxer in the history of the sport who looked as good as Oscar de la Hoya did against Miguel Angel Gonzalez. Fact.
