beatings effect everyone differently. and nobodies against Taylor or hating on him. its the opposite. we dont want to see him end up with parkinsons or half crazy like James Toney.
Dawg I 100% "get it" and as I've said I'm sure he appreciates the concern. If he choose to quit, hey he accomplished more than the vast majority of people on earth...but if he chooses to continue I don't see it as any more of a danger than any of the other countless cats who have walked in the same shoes.
Toney takes serious prolonged beatings. Taylor mostly gets sparked. Toney incurs more damage, though Taylor's way is more visceral to behold, and there's something different when most of us feel he's a knockout waiting to happen. I don't think Taylor's health is as much a concern as a fighter who takes frequent sustained beatings like Toney or a highlight reel warrior, despite the bleed history.

People who follow boxing are all to familiar with the signs. JT's performance against Truax is an indication that even if he is healthy he is years away from being elite at this point. I feel about the same way about JT in the ring right now. Given tonight's performance I just don't see it happening for him.
Sure its a concern that he laxed and let himself get caught by this type caliber fighter, but until I see Taylor get outclassed by a top 10 fighter, I dont see anything wrong with him wanting to resume his career. He seemed rusty tonight. His timing was noticeably off.

Toney hasn't taken a worse beating than JT, because as far as I know Toney never had a brain hemmorage that JT had after the AA fight. JT is playing a dangerous game with his brain condition.
His eyes and facial expressions symbolised the pain and realisation that his boxing career will never be the same again. He knows this and so do we, so in attempt to cover up his doubt and disbelief he is trying to portray himself as a live dog, but this is boxing and we all know the truth and that is that Taylor will never get back to the top ever again.
he was speaking the truth....they were trying to highlight the ****en kd when jt didnt give a ****....i loved that interview...confidence is something that he lacked....now he's full of it.... might not take my dude far, but it'll make for great fights
