If you think he thinks the job's to big, why you think he took the fight?

Since when? He's obviously slipped since his prime, but he's pretty much the same as he was when he schooled Tarver, Pavlik, and Pascal. People need to throw out convential wisdom when it comes to Hopkins. He's just different than most other fighters. Are you going to tell me he looked like a 46 year old man when he fought Pascal? That's the same Pascal that whooped Chad.

If Hopkins pulls this off, he will definitely be in the top 30 ATG fighters, no doubt at all !

    But i doubt it will.

don't even care because I won't be watching Hopkins is an extremely boring fighter and has been for a while and I am sure he will do all the things I mentioned in my post but the people on here will call it 'crafty' and make excuses for him :rofl:patsch

    Did he have an option?

If he did, it's because its B-Hop, he'll fight anyone anytime at any weight!

If you can bare to do so , go back and watch that fight and count how many clean punches Calzaghe landed. They were far and few between. Calzaghe spent the first half of the fight consistently walking into the same right hand from Hopkins.

I thought he looked noticeably sharper, quicker, and sturdy when he fought Tarver as compared to when he fought Jones and Pascal...which is to be expected as he did age about 5-6 years. Still one of the best in the world regardless. Haven't had him losing a fight since the first Jones one.

Why on earth would I want to go back and watch that **** fight? :huh

Hopkins clinched over 150 times and faked low blows. It was an awful fight. It should have been a good fight but Hopkins ruined it because he would not fight Calzaghe straight up.

I think he should school Dawson I think he is in Dawsons head....if the Hopkins takes this seriously and doesn't act the fool with the fouls and low blows etc he will take this!

When everyone is against the old man he performs at his best so count him out and see what happens!

That's great, none of that changes the fact that Calzaghe did not look good and struggled to land many good punches. Meanwhile, he ate a bunch of right hands himself.
