Round 1

Balzsay steps around, keeping his lead foot inside Sartison's and looking for somewhere to stick his right jab. Sartison is taking the lead, pumping his left jab up top. Left hook by Sartison, ducked. Balzsay doubles a jab tentatively while circling outside. Sartison comes on with a high guard, leaned forward a bit. Balzsay draws the bowstring and looses a left hand, just clipping Sartison. The crowd liked it. Balzsay circles left, then right, then left - waving his jab all the while. 1-2 by Sartison, timed well. Double jab, left cross by Balzsay.

Tight.

Round 2

Balzsay circles left at mid-range and goes fly-fishing with his 1-2. Sartison is winging some big hard left hooks up top on the front foot. Balzsay gets tickled by the eyes with Sartison's long left jab. Balzsay is keeping his hands just below his chin, and that's where Sartison is finding success by throwing quick sudden punches without much warning. Nice right hook to the body and then doubled a little further up by Balzsay. Right jab high, left low by Balzsay. Steady left jabs by Sartison. Cuffing left hook as Balzsay steps by him. Right jabs into the guard by Balzsay. Sartison keeps pressuring, towering over Balzsay with a straighter posture and his more solid build. Cat and mouse game. The mouse tosses a few southpaw jabs while skittering clear of the cat's paws.

Round 3

Sartison hooks his way in, then lands a few left jabs. Balzsay steps outside, and tosses a long left hand that doesn't quite reach. Balzsay is eliminating his own chances to land by insisting on such a long range. Kind of amateurish. Sartison patiently bobs and weaves his way in, pumping left jabs and keeping his guard high. Pecking right hooks to the side and back by Balzsay, tapping where he can. Left jab to the chin by Sartison. Balzsay throws a wayward right jab and is countered by a 1-2 down the middle. Hard right hand lead by Sartison, shook Balzsay a little. Another right hand lead by Sartison is slipped and countered, Balzsay landing a nice straight left while leaned over. Hard right to the belly by Sartison, makes Balzsay jump backward. Sartison keeps pressing in and jabbing. Hard triple hook downstairs by Sartison!

30-27 DS

 

Round 4

Sartison pressures behind the jab. Balzsay is pushing up against him with folded-up arms. A few 1-2 attacks from Balzsay from outside, flopping in and grinding some more. Sartison tries to club him up close with some right hands over the top, but Balzsay takes them on the gloves and then lands a nice left. Sartison is hooking high with the left and whipping some rights around to the sides of Balzsay's body.
