[ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c4TvqYzAGkM[/ame] “I really don’t hate Fedor. His management made the biggest f*** up in the history of all sports. We flew down there and tried to make Brock Lesnar vs. Fedor and it was for big, big money… They f*** laughed at it and I told them, and he’ll lie if you ask him this, I told him and he knows I f***** told him, not Fedor, Vadummy, I told Vadummy, ‘You’re one punch away from being worth zero.’ He didn’t take it. They thought they were too cool and too slick and too f**** funny. Like I said, they’re not laughing now.” Seriously this guy takes douche to a whole new level. At some point Fox are literally going to tell him to **** off. He's unbearable. 2 years later and Fedors name is still dripping off his lips. But apparently he doesn't care what Fedor is doing....
Why should Dana be blamed when he's getting asked constantly about Fedor? It's really the media that can't get enough of Dana talking about Fedor. They instigate. Besides, as Dana clarified, he isn't shitting on Fedor but rather Vadim. Dana's just passionate about business. If what he said is true then Vadim does deserve to get verbally raped. If not then you take it with a grain of salt because trash talking just comes with the territory of combat sports.
What Vadim/Fedor and M-1 do is their business. Contrary to what Dana thinks those involved in MMA aren't obligated to accept ANY of his offers. If Fedor wanted to be in the UFC he would be there by now. So why is he still discussing a topic that is irrelevant? Brock had his day. So did Fedor. To mention both of them in the same sentence is asinine.
I wonder if Dana realises the irony of calling someone Vadummy, when he's constantly spitting out his dummy [url]http://www.youtube.com/v/-Pq-1Rl-ggU&fs=1&source=uds&autoplay=1[/url] [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bcYppAs6ZdI[/ame] Thank you, thank you
He's obviously been asked a question about Fedor. He's a ***** but he's right about this one. Fedor would have killed Brock, he should have taken the fight. Easy to say with hindsight. It is a shame the GOAT never fought on the biggest stage in MMA.
I hated Brock being in MMA. I'm thinking from Fedors point of view. Easy money and picking up the UFC strap would have been another box ticked. You can argue Pride was better but not bigger Scurla.
At the time it was the most relevant organisation in the world. The fact Fedor hasn't fought in the UFC doesn't bother me at all. There is NO ONE past or present that has the accolades at the highest level Fedor has in or out of the sport. And Brock was great for casual interest. But as is usual with Brock when he doesnt get his way he bolts for the door. His done this 4 times now. First the WWE. The Vikinkgs. NJWP. And now the UFC. The man never had any business whatsoever being mentioned alongside the GOAT. Baddest man on the planet......
This. Fedor was making millions in Japan. He's well off now and has done VERY well for himself. So why does Dana and his fans think his obligated to accept the UFC's slave wage?
I think that's what Dana meant when he said everything was in place for the perfect opportunity. The UFC HW champ was an impressive specimen and a household name in the USA but actually a ****ing bum. Fedor could have come in, beaten him with ease and then put a run together. I would have liked to have seen it. Instead he went in that ****ing joke of a SF tourney.
That would have only benefited the UFC. Not Fedor. He doesn't need Brock on his resume. Brock in MMA was a nobody. He was a name superstar from the WWE that was built up as a wrecking machine by the UFC. And the SF tourny was not a joke. At the time it boasted the BEST heavys in the world. Its now turned into a joke since its been diluted and the UFC acquired SF. The GP is completely irrelevant now.
