i mean. round 5 was deff a close round.. just re watched it.. even if u call it even, it's still castillo by a point. mayweather was protected by Arum this fight.. there's no dobut come on bro.. 115-111 and 116-111 unanimous? no way that's why I'm saying its a robbery.. castillo won by a point.. the judges had no intention of letting castillo win that night just like they planned on giving de la hoya a split decision loss against mayweather even tho he lost 11-1 May's 41-1!
Why do people keep saying this? Watch the slow motion replay. Mayweather's hook doesn't even land. Castillo stumbles backwards and falls over. Not a knockdown at all. As for the fight, I scored it a draw, but I could see it going either way.
No offence but who are you to make a statement like this? In which country/state are you qualified as a judge? The other poster was right, close but to little to late by Castillo.
My score card rnd: Floyd-Castillo 1: 10-9 2: 10-9 3: 10-9 4: 10-9 5: 10-9(close round, it becomes obvious that Floyd's shoulder was hurting, but he landed most of the (legal) punches while Castillo cut the ring off well) 6: 9-10 7: 9-10 8: 9-9 9: 10-10(I watched it twice and don't know who to give it to. Floyd showed good defense and landed cleaner, but Castillo showed aggression and cut the ring off good) 10: 8-10 11: 10-9 12: 10-9 (Interesting round, Castillo landed more shots, but yet again, half of them are below the belt. I would have given it to him based off ring genralship, but Floyd stole the round in the last minute) 115-112 Mayweather
I think the punch landed. It's a bad angle that HBO shows. Plus Castillo said that Mayweather hurt him with a left hook early in that fight so maybe he was refering to that punch.
so mayweather only the won the first 4 on your card i'm presuming? now how do you figure that? you gave every close round to castillo?
did this one a while back its in an old thread and im too lazy to find but im pretty sure i got it a point to Floyd
