Who takes this one? I feel after Clouds last fight Pascal has the style to beat him if he can keep up the pressure and not run out of gas late. Could even get a stoppage IMO. Will Tavoris be able to bounce back?
Either Pascal stops him in the first 8 or he gasses and Cloud gets the job done. This will be an entertaining battle, no doubt.
I really must say that, in my eyes, my boy Zuniga dropped Cloud's rating several notches. I like Zuniga. I been a big fan ever since his fight with Pavlik, and the two wars with Zertuche. However, Cloud should have been able to get rid of Zuniga inside 8 rounds. "The Z Man" is about a hundred years old now, he fought Cloud 2 divisions north of his best weight, and his personal history says top fighters make mince meat out of him, but he went the distance with Cloud. At times he made Cloud look confused, and FAR from elite. The simple fact that Z knows how to jab his way inside, flurry, and jab his way back out, confused the hell out of Tavoris. I think Pascal stops Cloud, and makes it look easy. I could be wrong. You all know my predictions run about 50% at best, so I could be way off. I just can't get over the fact that Cloud took what should have been an easy night, and turned it into a competetive fight, and Zuniga did NOTHING different from a normal Zuniga fight.
hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm....good fight! I like Cloud because I don't think Pascal can work his way to a decision via "boxing" like Campillo. Cloud by SD.
Pascal is too slick for Cloud. Pascal UD 12, or if Cloud can get lucky he may win by KO. I say Pascal is a 2-1 favorite (9-2-1).
