I heard that Boswell fought that bout with a severely torn rotator cuff. If true, then that raises questions about the integrity of Povetkin's win.

Was Povetkin really that good, or was Boswell just that incapacitated?

The power tends to stay with a guy even into his 40s. Power is the last thing an aging fighter loses.

First the legs and reflexes go, which makes it harder to exploit openings, or to avoid being hit. After that, overall speed and vitality of body movement whither.

But the punch stays for years.

Power is the last thing to go, Rahman is a big puncher, and Povetkin isn't difficult to hit.

So Hasim does have a slim chance.

Povetkin needs to get himself into better shape or it will be risky for him in the later rounds.

Of course he does, he is a HW. One punch can change everything. Just ask Lewis. Povetkin makes a lot of mistakes so Rahman needs to capitalize on this and catch him flush. If even if by some chance Rahman won, he would get killed in his first defence. I mean, he will make a little money and some more recognition.

I remember Big Cat was on here talking about Ahunanya sparring with Rahman a while ago. He said Rahman was done like a dinner more than a year ago. Nothing left. He did say Jr had the goods and potential to make an impact with more experience though.

    Povetkin TKO6.
