If Matchroom have 20+ dates, can they ask Hatton to co-promote?

Unlikely, but we would get some stacked cards...

Do Matchroom even have the stable to fill the dates? We could see the cards being watered down big time. Not good

    This :deal

Its a business - when a competitor is weakened you don't help him!

Imagine if Pepsi was in trouble; would Coca-Cola help them? Would they ****, they'd probably buy them out.

Hearn will use Coldwell as he isn't big enough (pun intended) to overthrow him.

The only fights where this could realistically happen is:

    Barker v Murray
    Frampton v Quigg/Munroe

More likely they'll sign the likes of Quigg and Buckland when they become available.

Nope. Pepsico and Coca Cola co are two seperate entities. Neither is big enough to swallow the other, as Coke has the upperhand in Cola, but Pepsico has a much broader product base. Tropicana for example is a Pepsico brand, as are Walkers crisps.

Coca Cola are Mike Tyson, to Pepsico's Lennox Lewis.

Sky are not going to only put 20 shows on a year.

They will open up another batch of dates and promoters will pitch shows to Sky. This will mean there is a higher quality of show on Sky.

If Dave Coldwell want to put a show on Sky he can put together a provisional card and go to Smith and Francis and ask for a date. If they like the card he gets the date. Hatton, Maloney and the rest can do the same.

Your assuming its 20 shows over a year,as if the deal is over a year ...it could be 2years ...and there is no gurentee (like your implying) that there will be more dates ...the budget has been cut by 50% remeber ....this is the fact ...
