I agree with the idea of Mitchell-Arreola in the summer with the winner to get Wlad at the end of the year. Mitchell-Arreola would be a great fight and give a lot of credibility to the winner as well.

I'd guess the plan is to face Arreola since he is much more ready than Mitchell and throwing Mitchell's name in the mix is a bargaining ploy and some publicity for a future Wlad opponent.

It would be great if Arreola beat a top 15 guy this summer but he'll probably beat up one or two more guys on the level he's currently been beating up. Mitchell probably waits another year and 3 fights or so to better himself before facing Wlad. Depending on how he looks and who he faces, Wlad-Mitchell could be interesting in about a year or so but right now he's not ready.

I'd prefer the Arreola fight, at this point, but Volo clearly was taking a serious look at Mitchell's potential. "I want to introduce you to Seth Mitchell" in a recent interview on Jim Rome's show. I thought that was interesting for him.

    1) If that fight does ever happen it will be in Moscow. Why the **** would they waste it by having it at MSG.

    2) There are alot of Russian speakers in NY, most of them aren't Russians.

Arreola would be a much tougher opponent, but his losses to Vitali, Chambers, and Adamek, would mean the fight could not be hyped very much.

Arreola's size, style, combinations, aggression, and power, make him probably the most dangerous opponent for Wlad, apart from a non-injured Helenius [and Vitali of course]

Wlad would have no chance against Mitchell and he knows it, its just hype.

What's pretty pathetic is that Wlad is trying to build up Arreola like he has deserved another title shot. "He scored an impressive KO in his last fight" - really? Against a former CW with a padded record! No way Arreola should get another title shot unless he beats a ranked contender like Boytsov!

I'd favour Arreola to splatter Boytsov like a bug in the mid-rounds.

Both fighters are not that good to be honest, as soon as they fight tough opposition they crumble. Granted, Mitchell hasn't fought tough opposition yet, but he will crumble as well. He has a hard punch, that's it! Someone who knows how to box and has agility, speed, power, will destroy him.

We all know it will be Arreola, and we all know it will be another huge mis-match.

    Ughh.

It's got to be Arreola. I realise quite a lot of people will point to Mitchell as the more interesting name, but the dude has yet to fight past 6 rounds. If you've never even been halfway in a heavyweight fight, you are much too green to fight the champion.

Pulev a stiff? :? - he is not a hard puncher or very aggressive, but he is certainly not a stiff. Would say that he is the slickest of the bunch. Very good boxing fundamentals.
