He's the best HW in the world by far IMO. Annexing more titles will just allow Klitschko to continue to prove it beyond a shadow of doubt.
Its a step in the right direction... Wlad will have aquired a new string to his bow that further confirms his growing status as the Numero Uno... BUT he still has to address Chagaev and Peter.. They are just as qualified to be called champ until someone cleans house completely.. Especially with the other 2 versions are very well established Belts. (WBA...WBC..)
Because the version that faced Klitschko was either knock you out or loose (which is what happened against Klitschko). He has improved his overall skillset and showed that although he can be vulnerable, he can outbox his apponent and win on points. I'm not saying he is the ultimate boxer; he if far from it. But he is more well rounded than he was before.
Klitschko is the No.1 and that's what I consider the champ. He has proven himself by defeating good opponents, such as Peter, Byrd and Brock. If he beats Sultan, he will have beaten another good opponent. It doesn't make that much of a difference that Sultan is the WBO champion. Sultan is an excellent boxer, with or without that belt. If Wladimir wins, he will have proven once more that he's the champ. And that would make him a bigger champ than he already is.
there was a huge poll on this and about 60-65% answered in the affirmative, including myself. so, yes most objective boxing fans will recognize wlad as "The Champ" when he destroys Sultan. The Ring can go sit on it for all i care. hey bigcat! u know a lot about sultan. what type of fight do u see him fighting and what's ur prediction?
Yes i know Sultan very well.. I like him but also know as honest a fighter as he is, he gets by an awful lot on disciplined training and sheer will.. He has flaws yet he is amazing at working around his own limitations... Hard working sharp shooter who i can see getting dropped but not allowing it to shake his gameplan.. He throws a lot of punches and his timing is fabulous.. Chin has stood up so far, he goes down on occasion but gets up.. and more importantly wins.. Not necessarily a one shot Ko artist, but throws very accurate clusters of shots and can make you quit if you even slightly doubt yourself.. Sultan can beat Klitschko and i expect him to jump on him with a million hard drilled shots early to get a psychological edge.. I pick Wlad.. BUT .... Its never cut and dried in a fight like this.. Sultan is very underrated and is hard to kill.. God bless..
