through backing clev and leaving the real exciting fighter in his ranks it looks like fwank is going to lose out on bellew to matchroom, just how many more boxers is fwank going to lose with his old fashioned approach to promoting boxing, and having his favourites. Bellew has an appealing style, you dont know whats coming next and i can see him really catching the publics imagination in the next few years, whilst clev is just a yes man who jumps when fwank claps and will be fighting bums on boxnation for the forseable future. Then you look at Bellews personality and i cant think of anyone in the world like him, nevermind in this country, its so endearing to see him talk like that, he could talk his way to PPV fights and get the nation paying to watch him. I know mac isnt the best boxer and was way to easy to hit tonight, but im talking about bellew as an all rounded boxer, hes a promoters dream, who loves the arm round him approach, and will get that WHEN he signs up to matchroom, well that stable is just getting better and better.
good post steelcity , u ave summed up franks issues , his buisness stratergy is dated and he hasnt moved with the times
there is no way in a million years eddie hearn would have celebrated like that if bellew was going to work with fwank long term.
idk the exact, but i remember him saying 1 1/2, was a few months ago though, so yeah ur prob right.but dont forget any injury time gets added on to the contract
yeah but it sounds like the biggest names he has want to leave him, he loses those what has he got left the frankie gavins and saunders, no disrespect. but there not massive ticket sellers.
neither was kell brook under frank, but thats cos he is so old fashioned with his marketing techniques. Kell Brook just sold out a 10k arena and will probably do it again in July against carson Jones. If he was still with frank he would be fighting at Echo Arena or wembley on a clev undercard.
