Well spoken, kojiro! I am not a fan of Valuev either, but I have to admit that Valuev's last performance was bloody impressive. The version of Valuev who turned up against Lyakhovich is a threat to almost any rival apart from Wlad Klitschko and Alexander Povetkin.
Wow. I think I made thread after that last fight just to say how bored I was at the lack of activity. Amazing how some people can see it the complete opposite way, but there ya go.
I just saw Valuev last fight, and he very good vs Lyakhovich. Yes, I think if Valuev defeat Chagaev, him fighting Klitschko next would be a solid event.
it will be interesting. wlad has enjoyed the reach and height advantage every figth he has ever been in. It would be something different to him. however wlads skillz is too much for valuv, wlad wins by decision or ko
I've always been interested in that fight and I didn't stop to be interested in it after Valuev had lost to Chagaev. And I don't think that Valuev has improved as much as some people seem to believe with regard at his most recent performance. His win over Liakhovic was convincing, but that with some help from Liakhovic himself. What makes the bout Valuev vs. Klitschko attractive is to see Klitschko box someone who is much taller than himself without just being a circus act. Valuev is that tall and possesses decent boxing skills. I won't believe that Klitschko beats Valuev before I have seen it. The belts don't play a role here.
