Chagaev officially in the witness protection program for boxing

    Look at this friggin guy. Now his management is trying to get #15 WBA ranked Krasniqi approved as an opponent. So much for any further unification. Jesus Christ! At least give Thompson his shot or any live body. This guy Kohl is a real piece of work.

    Krasniqi is done and my favorite memory of him was when Brewster brutally knocked him out two or three times after the worst ref job in history which would even make Don King blush.

    How can anyone defend this guy? This is why people slam the division and rightly so. Let's just hope once Valuev gets his chance, he ends this guy and wants to unify with Wlad.

    The White Tyson is holding the belt hostage.

    Chagaev pulls out of a unification with Ibragimov.

    Than proceedes to face Skelton and now a totally spent Krasniqi.

    Yeah, he's carving out quite the championship run.

    Sad part is Chagaev is one of the best heavyweights out there and would be favored over almost anyone he faced. Oh well:-(

    Thompson is WBO's mandatory not the WBA's, that´s Valuev. Chagaev should be fighting Valuev next if he´s not unifying.

    I agree with you he´s fighting really lame opponents and should be ashamed. Maybe his illness was really bad and he doesn´t feel ready for real contenders yet.

    I want him to fight Valuev and the winner of that would fight the Ibrag-Wlad winner.

    Is Chagaev vs Krasniqui final? I hope not. However I can live with this as Chagaev must face Valuev after the Krasniqui warm up.

    Krasniqi's last fight was a total embarresment. He didn't try and he quit, it was a disgrace. No way this man deserves a title shot!!!!!

    Valuev has way improved and can beat Chagaev in a rematch. Valuev really clicked with his new trainer. His jab was excellent & kept Liakhovich out of range most the fight , and was busting up Liakhovich when he got close.

    Un****ing believable. Chagaev is quite rapidly losing my respect. I don't even think Artani is happy about this fight.

    It looks like Krasniqi has some mental issues. It is not the first time he quits, he did the same against Saleta, in a fight that was difficult to lose at this point.

    Also, he lost his last fight so I agree awarding him with another titleshot is a disgrace.

    dude if u get stopped by feather-fisted thompson, it's time to call it quits. If Chagaev fails to knock him out, i will laugh my ass off. But it's pretty clear he's already been overrated by many here.

    How can this guy compete with Wlad when his own management keeps putting him in with hacks? Looks like they don't think he can compete :think

    I don't think he recovered from Brewster who just destroyed him. He's lucky he wasn't killed in that fight. The ref was an idiot letting Krasniqi take that punishment. The long count was funny as hell though :lol:

    Is the fight final, not that I have seen and I too hope not.

    Does he have to face Valuev next? How long does he have to make that mandatory?

    I just don't want to see Chagaev go down the Felix Sturm route.

    Squeeze as many non-deserving challengers in you can in between mandatory defenses.

    After fighting Skelton, then going for Kras in his very next fight....good GOD how lame is that for a titleholder

    Where's the BEEF is what everyone should ask Chagaev.
