Yes, this is very dumb. Roy hasn't made 160 since 1994. He made 170 this year for the first time in over a decade. Floyd has fought above 147 just once, and was outsized by Oscar De La Hoya, who is considerably smaller than Roy Jones. This idea is as ridiculous as that other Floyd vs. Joe Cesar Calzaghe at 160 floating around. Good god this forum has gone from shitty to shittier.
A young middleweight Roy Jones destroys most people you throw at him especially someone as small as Floyd.
I wouldn't pick anybody over Roy at 160 or 168 to be honest, though Hagler and Monzon would have good chances. So it's definitely a mismatch in Roy's favor.
I have a dvd of some of his greatest knockouts and the **** is just unreal. I'm talking 7 and 8 punch combinations before you can blink twice.
Just look at your avatar. Not 1 ****ing ounce of body fat. He weighted 168 for the Tito fight. How do you lose eight more pounds of muscle and still have energy?
You cant, Roy would not be able to lose the weight and if he did he could and most probably would do serious damage to himself.
If there the athlete that Roy was, they can, and he did. Im not saying he has zero technique, but he is not as skilled a boxer as Mayweather.
