10-9 Dawson, good round for him. He got hit flush at the end though.

Close but not remotely entertaining. Disappointing fight so far.

 

Massive Chad round there clearest of the fight. Can't see him keep that up though.

I hope Dawson gets robbed for hitting an OAP.

 

Round 8: Dawson backing Popkins up behind a measured jab, and a 2-hook; 2-hook-2. . . Dawson shoveling that left uppercut in there. . . Really outpacing Popkins now. . Just taking him to the ropes, and letting the hands go, in which Popkins can do nothing but skeet away, and cover up. . . WHOOO! NICE counter backhand uppercut from Dawson under a lazy Hopkins jab! NAZIM STEALING MY PHRASE: "POP HAT CHAIN"! (referring to the jab) Thats my phrase!. . . Nice exchange - Lead right hook from Dawson, Hopkins counters with lead right hand. . . "ALMOST" had some nice exchanges, but both missed. . . Dawson just outworking him, dictating the pace, and range. . Popkins sneaking in a right hand every now and then ain't getting it done.

Dawson is winning this fight. Hopkins is just kinda hanging around.
