No he can't fight at an elite level.

He can headbutt lowblow and dive out of rings against elite fighters, but he is clearly below elite right now.

I was a big fan before, still am, and always will be. It's been fun watching a lot of his career. Full of surprises, good and bad. Full of great technical skill. His time is up, though. Last night was the end of an era.

"I am.......i thought he was going to get stopped by Chad Dawson, i enjoyed his round table interview before the fight and agreed with everything he said..? It was a very emotional interview, and something i will never forgot, a very inspirational and insightfull interview"

I got abit emotional, when he repeated.....

"I am the last of a dying breed, i am the ****ing last of a drying breed"..............i thought to myself. We are witnessing the crys of a legend before it sinks, just like when the titanic sank, its whole structure must of been screaming under the pressure, before it sank below the waves......"

Actually warriors do whatever is necessary to gain the advantage on the adversary. Whether by deception, misdirection, attacking a weakened flank whatever it takes is what must be done, to vanquish ones opponent. That is the mark of a true and intelligent warrior.:deal

You mistake the word warrior with the word *****.

Jumping out of the ring and faking an arm injury did not vanquish Dawson, just got Hopkins beat and a later date.

And you continue to repeat yourself to little effect. You don't like his unsavory tactics we get that, however that does not take away from being a 2 division lineal world champion (former lineal Middleweight Champion of the world, 20 successful defenses of that title, 2 time lineal Light-Heavyweight Champion of the world, defeating possible Hall of Fame fighters Glen Johnson (by KO) and Antonio Tarver (total domination & after 40 years old), and defeating sure-thing Hall of Famers Felix Trinidad (KO'd & ruined), Oscar De La Hoya (by KO & after 40 years old), Winky Wright, (after 40 years old) Roy Jones Jr. (after 40 years old).

Not to mention the very good (but not quite Hall of Fame) undefeated or 1 loss fighters Kelly Pavlik (total domination & ruined for a time, after 40 years old), Howard Eastman (after 40 years old) and Jean Pascal (really twice & after 40 years old.

That my friend is a mark of legend, and he deserves your respect, whether you don't care for his tactics or not. Bernard is a brilliant technical fighter, you can turn to the lessons he gave "Tito" Trinidad and Kelly Pavlik for evidence of that. So you should show respect, even if you genuinely have none.:deal

Please do not bring up the Eastman fight. I am a Hopkins fan, but I will be the first to admit that he looked very bad in that fight!
