Nope, not in this case. You need the vehicle too, and Nazim is a good trainer but he didn't have the vehicle to cooperate with his instractions. Cotto is way more fresher than Shane Mosely was. Not to take credit away from Mayweather but the reality is, Shane didn't have the speed or endurance he used to have.(you can never escape age and a fighter like Mosely who depends on his speed, will slow down faster and when faced with a opponent he doesn't have that advantage on, he'll look old) And another thing, Shane Mosely never faired well with techincal fighters, he loss to every good techincal fighter he's faced, that's not the case with Cotto, so this will be different. Either way, if Mayweather does win it, he'll have a harder time with Cotto than he did with Shane Mosely, i'm very sure about that.

I'm actually agreeing with you. I said that you need the vehicle, and Nazim didn't have that. Now if he was training a prime Sugar Shane, than it would of been different. So the trainer does mean something. If it didn't, than Chad Dawson wouldn't been able to make it thru this last saturday with Hopkins and he even admitted if it wasn't for scully, it would of never happened the way it did. He's looked better with scully, than he did with Stewart. If that doesn't do it for you, than look at how Mike Tyson deteriated when he split with Kevin Rooney. So like I said, communication and prepartion with the right trainer means a lot. Because you can't fight a good fight without it.
