He got booed in Ireland and ditched the Brits thinking he would be Ireland's favorite son just wondering what ppl think about him.

I like the guy but he needs to fight Perez or price next

    Not really.

Most of my mates dont know who he is. I dont think he's all that as a boxer, despite liking the guy.

I doubt he would sell more than a couple hundred tickets down south..

He was on Ireland's version of Jonathan Ross the other week and came across really well. Ironically Wossy was a guest the same week!

Whilst that might not translate directly into ticket sales is will gain you a base with national media and help with general exposure.

Personally I would say he is more popular in Ireland than England.

Then again what current pro boxer in Ireland is known by the general public?

He seemed to get a very good reception and universially recognised when he came to the ring on the Dunne undercard in Dublin. And got a great welcome.

The appearance on the Late Late Show will have done him profile no harm. And its hard to forget him as well.

But yeah he would need to base himself in Ireland full time to become a real star!

More than if the fight was in Manchester!

Around about 50% full give our take. Nobody really knew about him at the time in fairness and Rogan was supposed to be the opponent.

He needs to do more things like the late late show if he's serious about bringing a Klitschko to Croke park. It could certainly happen 5 fights down the line if promoted right. Vitali did recently travel to Poland to face Adamek at a stadium under a similar proposal. Hennesy should probably strike a deal with Perez to have him fight on Fury's undercards in order to sell out smaller venues until then, not to mention to build up a fight with Perez down the line.

He's pretty well know in Northern Ireland. We like watching him fight as hes vulnerable and that makes it exciting.

He wad mad popular when i was down in Dublin for the Rigo v Casey fight last year.
