is there a special temperament that draws guys to cage fighting over boxing?

MMA is a young sport compared to boxing. If MMA is still able to maintain its momentum, with a little time the skill level will rise to the point where most practitioners will have to start out at a young age like in boxing.

 

I practice both and in my experience most cagefighters have a few screws knocked loose in their head. ADD ADHD just some crazy ****ers, moreso than boxing. Boxing tends to attract blacks more too.

 

ARROGANCE and EGO.....I think guys who have these two qualities in abundance tend to be the one's who gravitate towards combat sports in general!
